Anyone found a good site for social and cultural news from Asia?

I've been trying to follow what's happening in Asia beyond the usual trade and political headlines. I'm interested in social issues, disability rights, arts events, and diversity movements across the region. Most mainstream outlets barely cover that side of things. Does anyone know a site that does?

I found a site recently that focuses exactly on that. It covers a really interesting mix of topics. Social inclusion, cultural events, and rights-based initiatives across Asia. For example, they recently had a piece on a country mission in South Korea advancing the principles of the CRPD, and another on the opening ceremony of a diversity and inclusion arts festival in Hong Kong celebrating creativity and representation. It's not just news; they actually go into the context and significance of these events. I've been reading it for a few weeks and it's refreshing to see coverage that treats social and cultural issues as important rather than just side stories. If you want a resource that covers this side of Asia properly, check out https://madinasia.org/ . I've found it really useful for staying informed about what's actually happening on the ground.

That sounds exactly like what I've been looking for. Especially the disability rights and arts festival coverage. It's rare to find that kind of reporting in one place. I'll bookmark it and start reading regularly. Thanks for the tip.
