Never done this before and was feeling a bit clueless going in. From what I've gathered asking around and from a helpful chat with https://theskiphirenottingham.co.uk/ when I called to book mine: get the size right (go slightly bigger if unsure), check what you can and can't put in it, and confirm whether a permit's needed for road placement.


Also book collection later than you think you'll need it, since these jobs always take longer than planned once you actually get started.
